Projecte internacional per connectar inquietuds compartides
Esperança en Línia began a project in 2023 that, under the broad label of internationalization, aspires to create links between people and organizations that, regardless of their origin or place of residence, share concerns, tools and values with those of the Foundation.
The first steps in this process were taken with the incorporation into IFOTES, the international federation of telephones and emergency services. During 2024, this desire for growth has materialized in three areas of work.

Volunteer recruitment
Thanks to the possibility of training and providing care remotely through digital platforms. In these first actions, institutions such as Catalunya Exterior have collaborated, and different Catalan centers around the world have been contacted.
Xarxa i col·laboració
Creation of a network and collaboration with similar international entities, for the exchange of knowledge and good practices.
Promotion of joint projects
Col·laborant amb entitats que treballin la salut mental en altres països. L’objectiu és desenvolupar plegades iniciatives de prevenció del malestar emocional i de conductes suïcides o autolesives, més enllà de l’atenció immediata.

Internationalization: a new chapter opens in the history of Esperança en Línia
Esperança en Línia began a project in 2023 that, under the broad label of internationalization, aspires to create links between people and organizations that, regardless of their origin or place of residence, share concerns, tools and values with those of the Foundation. The first steps in this process were taken with the incorporation into IFOTES, the international federation of telephones and emergency services. During 2024, this desire for growth has materialized in three areas of work:
- Recruiting Catalan-speaking volunteers around the world, thanks to the possibility for all volunteers to train and offer care remotely thanks to the use of digital platforms. In the first actions in this line, we have been accompanied by institutions such as Catalonia Outside, different Catalan centers around the world have also been contacted.
- Creation of a network and links to similar entities in other countries around the world, for collaboration and exchange of knowledge and good practices. In this area, the support received from has been essential.IFOTESAt this time we have established links with entities such as Phone Friend from Italy or SOS Friend Voice, from Portugal, to name the closest associations.
- Finally, the Foundation aspires to collaborate with entities that promote emotional health in other countries., not only from immediate attention and active listening but from any area, with the aim of being able to develop joint projects to promote mental health and prevent discomfort and suicidal or self-harming behaviors.
