The task consists of answering calls and conversations that come to our telephone lines and chat services using different listening techniques. The attention and emotional support is done from home, so you can carry out the voluntary work from wherever you live, anywhere in the territory or the world!
Volunteers are the driving force behind our organization, without them nothing would be possible. That is why it is very important to take care of them and preserve the integrity of the entire team, especially due to the emotional burden that some of the calls and conversations that are handled carry.
We provide a safe environment for both people who need help and volunteers. For this reason there are four requirements to be a scout:
- Be over 25 years old
- Have a very good understanding of Catalan and Spanish
- Experience a moment of emotional stability
- Have 10 hours a month to dedicate to listening to others
