Observatory of Hope

The creation of the Observatory of Hope was motivated by the desire to generate devices ofanalysis within the foundation that works with the data generated from the provision of our servicesAt the same time, it is a space for reflection and multifactorial analysis that seeks to provide a well-founded description of the environment that surrounds us to respond to the ideas that we question as a society.

The observatory has the following general objectives:

Observe with a global vision of the society that surrounds us through the internal mechanisms of the foundation.

Analyze the set of data collected by the Hope Hotline and Suicide Prevention Hotline services of the Ajuda i Esperança Foundation.

Reflect about the reality that surrounds us, current social phenomena and about the practice of active listening (an activity inherent to the services offered by the foundation).

Communicate the data we obtain through the appropriate communication channels for each case.

The publication of data, however, represents a significant contribution to the field of knowledge, to professional work, to the social and institutional world. It constitutes a different way of continuing to contribute, in this case, by disinterestedly offering relevant information about the emotional well-being of Catalan society.
